    1. National Horticulture Mission 2011 funded production of disease free banana saplings and sale of the saplings amongst the farmers with nominal price. Headed by Prof. Tapash Dasgupta, Dean, School of Biological Sciences, RKMVERI.
    2. Provisional patent filed for ‘α Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone (MSH)-Chitosan-Cholesterol Nanoconjugate and method of production thereof’ by RKMVERI
    3. Introduction of a paper on ‘Entrepreneurship and Drug Development’ for the curriculum of M. Sc. in Agricultural/Medical Biotechnology, first semester.
    4. Conduction of Entrepreneurial talks every semester, with the latest one by Dr. Nivedita Jena, COO, DBT ILS Bioincubator, Bhubaneshwar on the 24th of November 2023.
  2. Ongoing:
    1. Toronto-Calcutta Foundation supported production of disease free banana, papaya and date palm saplings for sale amongst the farmers with nominal price. Headed by Prof. Tapash Dasgupta, Dean, School of Biological Sciences, RKMVERI.
    2. DST supported a project on 3D scanning of Swami Vivekananda’s heritage artifacts and disseminating his message using Virtual/Augmented Reality.
