Reporting Time
9 AM for morning session candidates and 1 PM for afternoon session candidates.
Note: In case of early completion of the morning session, a few afternoon session candidates may be interviewed in advance.
Venue: Medha Bhavan, Main campus of the university at Belur (just outside the main gate of Belur Math)
Some important instructions
-
Please come well in time with all your original documents including age proof certificate, publications, experience etc. so that we would have sufficient time for verification of these documents before the commencement of the interview.
- You will be required to make a brief 5-8 minute power point presentation of your ideas about how you would contribute to the service of farmers under the jurisdiction of the KVK from the perspective of your area of specialization i.e. Plant Protection (not just Entomology or Pathology or Nematology or any other related field). We expect you to focus & elaborate on how you will raise this KVK to the heights of excellence in the service of the farmers of Murshidabad District with specific details pertaining to this District.”
Note: During the document verification, please give your presentation (ppt) to the person in-charge at the reception.
- Please come well acquainted with the objectives, mandate and functioning of KVKs under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Also note that in your presentation you SHOULD NOT talk about what are the mandates of KVK, its objectives etc., which are well known and available in the ICAR website. But, you may use this information to talk about your contribution in the presentation.
- Please note that no travelling or other allowances will be provided to attend the interview.
- Those who are in service should bring with them a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their present employer (if not already submitted).
