We are glad that the seminar will be held in the holy presence of Sri Shankara Bharati Mahaswamiji, Head of Vedanta Bharati and senior monks of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission in the sacred precincts of Belur Math. Eminent speakers from across various States in India will address the current burning issues of environment and disaster management juxtaposed with scholarly deliberations of speakers on the solutions discussed in our ancient Veda-Vedanta texts. The detailed programme is being worked out and will be released soon.

While all College/University students at the graduate/postgraduate level may register FREE of charge, all other participants (faculty, PhD research scholars, devotees, anyone else interested) may register online or offline (at the Reception Desk in Medha Bhavan of the University’s Belur Main Campus) by paying the following token registration fees (for the entire two-day seminar):

  1. Category 1: Outstation delegates/participants (with accommodation): Rs.500/-
  2. Category 2: Local delegates/participants (without accommodation): Rs.250/-

Registration will be open from 1 December 2024 to 24 December 2024.

For those registering offline, the Reception Desk at Medha Bhavan in the Belur Main Campus of the University will open from 10.30 AM to 6.30 PM.

Participation certificates will be issued to all the participants after the seminar.

We request all our faculty, postgraduate students, PhD research scholars, devotees and whoever is interested, to attend in large numbers and benefit from the talks from eminent scholars on this unique and interesting topic, modern yet ancient (purana—pura api nava).
