Webinar on Swami Vivekananda’s Educational Vision vis-à-vis National Educational Policy 2020 on 19 Oct 2020

We are glad to announce that a webinar on “Swami Vivekananda’s Educational Vision vis-à-vis National Educational Policy 2020” will be held on 19 October 2020 (Monday) from 10.45 AM to 1.00 PM. Although it will be held online, there will be around 25-30 persons (monk-administrators and faculty, non-teaching staff and other stakeholders who will be attending face-to-face in the Saradananda Seminar Hall at Prajna Bhavan at Belur Main Campus of the University (maintaining all the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions and SOP as notified by the Governments at the Centre and the State, to be sure).

We are glad that the Hon’ble Minister of Education, Government of India, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has kindly consented to inaugurate the webinar through video-conferencing from Delhi at 11 AM. We have also invited the Higher Education Secretary, Government of India, Sri Amit Khare, IAS, to deliver the keynote address. Our Chancellor, Swami Suviranandaji Maharaj, will speak on Swami Vivekananda’s educational vision the Vice Chancellor, Swami Sarvottamanandaji, besides sharing his thoughts on this subject will say a few words of thanks. The function will begin with the auspicious chanting of Vedic Shanti Mantras (Peace Chants) by the monks of the University.

All our students, faculty, staff, parents, devotees and admirers are requested to join this programme online by 10.45 AM on 19 October 2020.
