This fee structure will be applicable for students getting admitted from the 2025-2026 session, beginning from July-August 2025. Students applying for the various programmes from the 2025-2026 session should take note and get prepared accordingly.
A. Online Fees Payment
- Application fee, Admission fees, and Course fee (Certificate courses) are to be paid through the Online Admission Portal (https://isr.rkmvu.ac.in/admission).
- All Student fees (like, Semester fees, Exam related fee, Misc. fee, etc.) are to be paid through the Student Portal (https://isr.rkmvu.ac.in/student).
B. Offline Fees Payment
Applicants / Candidates / Students may pay the following types of fees at RKMVERI by Cash or Demand Draft (DD) subject to the terms mentioned there under.
Applicable types of fees: Application fee, Admission fees, Semester or Academic fees, exam fees, MPhil/PhD fees (registration, plagiarism check, thesis submission), and Convocation fees.

Fees payment by Cash

- Any fees amount within Rs. 10,000/- may be paid in Cash at the Reception Desk in Medha Bhavan for Belur Campus, OR at the Campus office at other Campuses (Narendrapur, Ranchi, Coimbatore).

Fees payment by Demand Draft (DD)
Fees can be deposited either through Demand Draft. The details of the same as under:

- For Belur Campus: DD should be drawn in favour of : RAMAKRISHNA MISSION VIVEKANANDA UNIVERSITY, Belur Math and payable at Kolkata, India.
- For Narendrapur Campus: DD should be drawn in favour of : Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Narendrapur and payable at Kolkata, India.
- For Ranchi Campus: DD should be drawn in favour of : Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, Morabadi, Ranchi and payable at Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.
Please mention the name of the Candidate/student on the back of the DD and the purpose for which it is being submitted to RKMVERI.
New Student Admissions Academic Fees Refund Policy
As per the UGC guidelines, a full refund of fees shall be made on account of all cancellations of admission/ migrations of students up to 30 September 2024 and with a deduction of not more than Rs. 1000/-, as a processing fee, up to 31 October 2024. For any admission schedule extending/ commencing beyond/ after 31 October 2024, the general Academic Fees Refund Policy shall be followed.
General Academic Fees Refund Policy
If the student chooses to withdraw from the program in which he/she is enrolled, the refund of the paid fees will be made as per the following UGC guidelines.

* In case of (1) in the table above, the University shall deduct 5 % of the Academic fee or Rs. 5000/- (whichever is lower), as processing charges from the refundable amount.
- Any fee dues or fine amount will be deducted from the total refundable amount (including caution deposit) before fee refund is processed.
- Application and Entrance Test fees, wherever applicable, once remitted shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances.
- The refund information given above is indicative only and RKMVERI reserves the right to make changes as per the notifications received from the concerned statutory/regulatory authorities from time to time. Any changes in the above will be updated on the RKMVERI website.
Fee Refund Procedure

Student needs to submit an Admission withdrawal letter to the concerned Head of the Department or the Dean of the Faculty-centre, and the same letter with HoD/Dean’s signature is to be submitted to the Registrar’s Office (for Belur students) or the Off-Campus Faculty-Centre office for processing the fees refund.
Hostel Fees Refund Policy
This Hostel fee refund policy applies only to the Belur Campus. For other campuses respective websites are to be consulted.
A. For Batches admitted in 2019-20 and earlier
1. If an admitted student submits his/her admission withdrawal application at least 7 days before the commencement of classes/Semester, then the eligible fee refund is:
- 100% of Hostel Caution deposit money after deduction of fine, etc., if any.
- 100% of Hostel Room accommodation charges.
2. If an admitted student submits his/her admission withdrawal application within 7 days before the commencement of classes/semester or after classes/semester commence, then the eligible fees refund is:
- 100% of Hostel Caution deposit money after deduction of fine, etc., if any.
- Hostel accommodation charges would be refunded for the number of Semester months pending except the month in progress, upto a maximum of five months.
B. For Batches admitted in 2020-21 and later
- If a hostel-inmate leaves the Hostel WITHIN one month of hostel admission applicable refund is: 50% of Hostel & Mess fee paid for the semester plus 100% of Caution deposit.
- If a hostel-inmate leaves the Hostel AFTER one month of hostel admission applicable refund is: 100% of Caution deposit.
- After taking hostel admission if a hostel-inmate leaves it anytime in the subsequent semesters (that is after admitting to hostel in 1st semester, if student leaves it in 2nd semester or 3rd semester, etc.), irrespective of whether that semester hostel fees is paid or not, the applicable refund is: 100% of Caution deposit.
- Any fine amount shall be deducted from the refundable amount.
Donations
Donations received either through online (NEFT bank transfer, online payment gateway, etc.) or through Cash/DD/Cheque are not Cancellable or Refundable except in special/genuine cases. However, donation could be changed from one cause (or purpose) to another upon receipt of application (or email) from the donor within 2 weeks from the date of donation.

- Regarding Student credit card ( From State Govt.) please click on the link – https://wbscc.wb.gov.in/. Students have to apply by ownself and the Institution has verified the same.
- Regarding Student loans from banks, students can directly contact the bank.They will guide the process as different banks have different procedures and requirements of paper. We will process the requirements of the bank as per our Institution procedure.
Hostel-Mess fees details (with effect from 1st January 2021)
The following fees are made effective from 1st January 2021 and will be applicable to all the students who are presently staying in the Belur Campus Hostels (except those residential students pursuing B.A.Hons / Integrated M.A. in Sanskrit).
Hostel Room accommodation charges per month = Rs.1000 /-
Mess charges per month = Rs.2500 /-
Total amount payable in a semester (for 6 months) = Rs. (1000 + 2500) x 6 = Rs.21000/-
Caution Deposit (payable while taking admission to hostel) = Rs.3000/- (refundable/adjustable at the time of leaving hostel on completion of the academic programme after deduction, if any, due to damages, wear & tear, etc.)

Please note the following:
- Hostel and Mess fees for each semester should be paid at the beginning of each semester within 10 days of commencement of classes in that semester.
- If any hostel-inmate does not avail the hostel facility for any reason (for example, absence due to project work, illness, etc.) for a period of 7 days or more the student may obtain exemption from the mess charges for that duration (calculated on daily basis). This exemption should be claimed officially through a letter to the Registrar along with appropriate supporting documents.
- Such exempted mess charges, if any, will be adjusted for the hostel and mess fees payable for the next succeeding semester fee or refunded in case of the exemption being during the final semester after which the student leaves the hostel.
