Engage in online learning during the current Lockdown— Let us utilise the time productively

As we jointly combat COVID 19 by taking preventive and precautionary measures, maintaining social distancing and staying in the confines of our homes/hostels, we should utilise this time productively by engaging in On-line learning.

There are several ICT initiatives of the MHRD, UGC and its Inter University Centres (IUCs) – Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) and Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), in the form of digital platforms which can be accessed by the teachers, students and researchers in Universities and Colleges for broadening their horizon of learning.

List of some of these ICT initiatives along with their access links is given here :  Online Learning Portals of MHRD & UGC

Also, the list of ICT initiatives is available on MHRD website : https://mhrd.gov.in/ict-initiatives

  1. In the current times to facilitate learning from Home many of these course lists have been enlarged/enhanced and they are made easier to access, download, enroll, etc.
  2. Most of the courses and learning materials are free to access/download.
  3. All the students, researchers & faculty-members are encouraged to browse through these online platforms/portals and get acquainted with various learning resources made available freely by various Govt. bodies.
