RKMVERI Convocation-2012 at Belur Main Campus

On 4 July 2012, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute honored its students by awarding them with academic degrees. Smt. Mamata Banerjee, Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, delivered the Convocation Address as the special guest of honor.    

From the Faculty Centre of Integrated Rural Development and Management ten students received M.Sc. degrees in Integrated Rural Development and Management for the academic period 2009-11 and five students received Post Graduate Diplomas in Agro-Based Biotechnology for the academic period 2009-11.

From the School of Mathematical Sciences at Belur Main Campus one student was awarded with a Ph.D degree in mathematics fot the period 2007-12, two students with M.Sc. degrees in computer science for the period 2010-12. and one student with M.Phil. degree in Physics for the period 2009-11. Integrated MA/MA in Sanskrit degrees were received by two students of the School of Indian Heritage at Belur Main Campus for the academic period 2007-12.

On that auspicious day four books were released by Ramakrishna Mission VIvekananda Educational and Research Institute:

2. Ekagrata O Dhyan by Swami Paramananda
3. Unnayan – Sri Ramakrishna Vivekanander Nirdeshita Path by Sri Shoutir Kishore Chatterjee
4. Advaita Siddhanta Sara Samgrahah by Narayanashrama (reconstructed and edited by Professor Dilip Kumar Mohanta)
