RKMVERI Secure Portal https://forms.rkmvu.ac.in (our Payments and donation site) will only collect personal information which you knowingly and voluntarily provide us, for example, name, billing address, email, phone number. This information is required to send you donation receipts, to communicate other information when there is a transaction failure, and to reply donor’s queries. We may also contact you to provide information about our programs and activities that may interest you.
Webpage Comments
When you leave comments on our websites we collect the data shown in the comment-form, and also the your’s IP address and browser user-agent string to help spam detection. These comments’ content (your name and content text) will be publicly shown (provided they meet our Comments Policy given below) on the same page you write the comment.
Comments Policy:
RKMVERI welcomes comments on the web-pages on its websites from the site visitors. Comment text should be generally useful, meaningful to RKMVERI or general public and relevant to the webpage; it should not be disparaging, or disrespectful, or non-offensive towards any individual or entity. RKMVERI reserves the right to reject any comment if it thinks the comment violates the Comment policy.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (like RKMVERI secure Portal), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Security
We take reasonable steps to design and manage the websites’ technology to ensure that its information technology systems, applications, and information technology infrastructure are secure. We secure credit card / debit card / wallet / net banking processing based on compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards by our payment gateway. When you use your credit card / debit card / wallet / net banking for any donation or payment on our RKMVERI Secure Portal, that transaction is always encrypted when traveling over the Internet.

Within the websites of RKMVERI, there are embedded applications, plug-ins, widgets or links to non-Belur Math Websites (collectively “sites”), such as, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, etc. These sites operate independently of RKMVERI and have their own privacy policies. When you visit these sites, you leave our Websites and no longer will be subject to our privacy and security policies. RKMVERI, Belur Math, is not responsible for the privacy or security practices or the content of other sites, and such sites are not intended to be an endorsement of those sites or their content.
