Admission to First year of (3 years B A Hons + 2 years M A) course in Sanskrit

• Course: 5-year Integrated M A course in Sanskrit (3 years B A Hons + 2 years M A)
• Salient Features of the Course :-
  1. Sanskrit subjects are taught in Sanskrit medium
  2. English and Computer Application subjects are offered as General Subject along with Honors Subject
  3. Special provision for the new students to learn spoken Sanskrit and writing answers in Devanagari script in Sanskrit
  4. Attention would be towards character and conduct of the students
• Eligibility: - Aspirant must have passed 10+2 (higher secondary) or equivalent examination in any faculty and should have - either minimum 55% marks in aggregate at the 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent exam or minimum 60% marks in aggregate at the secondary (Matric-SSC) exam
• Admission test will be held on 20th June 2010 at 10 am at the University, Belur Math. The short-listed candidates from the written test will be interviewed on the same day. Admission test will consist of English and General Aptitude
• Hostel, Food, Scholarship etc: -
  1. No tuition fees will be charged
  2. Hostel and food facilities are available within the Campus on payment
  3. Economically backward but intelligent students deemed fit would be given partial or complete financial assistance for hostel and food
• Application Form:- (Photocopying of the application form is permitted)
  1. Venue to submit Application forms - Vivekananda University, Belur Math
  2. Applications can be sent in by post so as to reach on or before the last date
  3. Attach attested photocopies (Not Originals) of 10th and 10+2 examinations
  4. Application forms are available at University office or can be downloaded from the University Website
  5. Last Date for submitting fully filled in application forms - 18th June 2010
