- Course: 5-year Integrated M A course in Sanskrit (3 years B A Hons + 2 years M A)
- Salient Features of the Course :-
- Sanskrit subjects are taught in Sanskrit medium
- English and Computer Application subjects are offered as General Subject along with Honors Subject
- Special provision for the new students to learn spoken Sanskrit and writing answers in Devanagari script in Sanskrit
- Attention would be towards character and conduct of the students
- Eligibility: - Aspirant must have passed 10+2 (higher secondary) or equivalent examination in any faculty and should have - either minimum 55% marks in aggregate at the 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent exam or minimum 60% marks in aggregate at the secondary (Matric-SSC) exam
- Admission test will be held on 20th June 2010 at 10 am at the University, Belur Math. The short-listed candidates from the written test will be interviewed on the same day. Admission test will consist of English and General Aptitude
- Hostel, Food, Scholarship etc: -
- No tuition fees will be charged
- Hostel and food facilities are available within the Campus on payment
- Economically backward but intelligent students deemed fit would be given partial or complete financial assistance for hostel and food
- Application Form:- (Photocopying of the application form is permitted)
- Venue to submit Application forms - Vivekananda University, Belur Math
- Applications can be sent in by post so as to reach on or before the last date
- Attach attested photocopies (Not Originals) of 10th and 10+2 examinations
- Application forms are available at University office or can be downloaded from the University Website
- Last Date for submitting fully filled in application forms - 18th June 2010
