- “Space and Identity: A Study on Tradition and Change of the Gujars of Himachal Pradesh” by Dipankar Chatterjee submitted for publication in Social Anthropology published by European Association for Social Anthropologist (EASA, Netherlands).
- The project titled An IPM strategy for the control of Egg Plant Fruit and Shoot Borer by Arunava Sengupta has been awarded the International Award of Recognition from the awards programme of the 6th International Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Symposium, held in Portland, Oregon, USA, on 24-26 March 2009. Sri Sengupta was one of the ontributing members of this Department for International Development funded (DFID) project.
