Chancellor

The Chancellor is the General Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission (sponsoring society), ex-officio and he is assisted by Pro-Chancellor who is an Assistant General Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, to be nominated by the Chancellor by a resolution of the Governing Body of Ramakrishna Mission with Headquarters at Belur Math, West Bengal. Presently, the Chancellor is Swami Prabhanandaji, the General Secretary of the worldwide organization, Ramakrishna Mission, with headquarters at Belur Math in West Bengal, with academic qualification M.Sc. Psychology from Calcutta University (stood 1st in Calcutta University with 1st class—medal winner), and vast educational experience: was the Head of the reputed schools of Ramakrishna Mission at Narendrapur and Purulia, was the Principal of the first college of Ramakrishna Mission, namely, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira at Belur Math.
